Graphic Design Intern

During my internship at OASES New York, a trendsetting restaurant and lounge, I was tasked with bringing the brand's ethos of wellness and community to life through various design projects. My role was pivotal in enhancing the brand's visual communication and engaging with its upscale New York clientele.

 

One of my first tasks was a seemingly simple yet crucial one: designing business cards for Sonam S, our inspiring founder, and Jenna Rosen, our dynamic Director of Marketing. Using OASES’s elegant brand guidelines, I crafted cards that were not just pieces of information but small ambassadors of our brand ethos.

 
 

The real fun began when I started working on social media templates. Inspired by the contemporary and minimal aesthetics, I crafted Instagram ads and story templates that mirrored OASES's chic and holistic vibe. I remember scrolling through Pinterest, picking out images that just felt right, ensuring each design would strike a chord with our wellness-focused and culturally savvy audience.

 

Throughout my internship, I learned the power of design in storytelling and brand communication. Each project, from the tangible business cards to the digital narratives of Instagram and Mailchimp, was a lesson in how design shapes customer perceptions and interactions, particularly in New York’s dynamic dining scene.
